Job Description
Front Desk Receptionist Matchpoint KC Job Title:
Front Desk Associate As a Front Desk Associate at our esteemed tennis facility, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our members and guests. Your role will encompass various administrative tasks, customer service duties, and operational responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth functioning of the facility and providing exceptional experiences to all visitors.Key Responsibilities:
1.Greet and Assist Visitors:
Welcome members and guests as they enter the facility, providing friendly and professional assistance. Answer inquiries regarding services, programs, and facilities, and direct individuals to appropriate areas within the facility. 2.Manage Reservations:
Coordinate court reservations, lessons, and other tennis-related bookings using the facility's booking system. Ensure accuracy of reservation details and manage any changes or cancellations efficiently. 3.Handle Payments:
Process payments for court rentals, lessons, memberships, merchandise, and other transactions. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile cash and card payments at the end of each shift. 4.Provide Information and Assistance:
Offer information about upcoming events, tournaments, and programs offered at the facility. Assist members and guests with equipment rentals, locker access, and other amenities available on-site. 5.Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
Keep the front desk area, lobby, and common areas tidy and organized at all times. Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as tennis balls, towels, and refreshments, and replenish as needed. 6. Assist withAdministrative Tasks:
Support administrative functions such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing documents, and updating membership databases. Assist with scheduling and coordinating tennis lessons, clinics, and events. 7.Ensure Safety and Security:
Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring entry and exit points, enforcing facility rules and regulations, and promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents to management.Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Knowledge of tennis and familiarity with tennis terminology is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software for reservations and transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
