Job Description

Busy law office seeking an experienced reception staff member to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency, and the ability to confidently manage a fast-paced front desk. We offer a supportive, team-oriented environment with flexibility when possible, while maintaining high standards for professionalism and client service. Position Details Part-time (25-30 hrs/week) or Full-time (30-40 hrs/week) available
Office Hours:
Mon-Thursday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch daily) Flexible scheduling available with approval
Pay:
$16-$18/hour (depending on experience)

10 days PTO (full-time only) + paid major holiday closures Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency Communicate effectively with clients, including those in stressful or time-sensitive situations Keep calls focused and productive while achieving a positive client experience Greet clients and maintain a polished, professional front office Scan, organize, and prioritize electronic and paper documents Ensure attorneys receive time-sensitive information promptly Maintain client confidentiality by appropriately handling sensitive information Qualifications Prior reception, front desk, customer service, call center, banking, or administrative experience required (legal experience a plus) Backgrounds in banking, call centers, sales, or similar client-facing roles strongly preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Confident, professional presence with the ability to be friendly yet appropriately assertive Ability to independently manage time, priorities, and phone flow in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment, including ability to recognize true vs. perceived emergencies Proficiency with basic office technology (document scanning, file organization, etc.) Ability to efficiently and effectively organize and maintain electronic and physical files Why Join Our Office Professional, team-oriented work environment Consistent, Reliable hours and expectations Family focused, flexible scheduling when appropriate and possible
