We're growing, and we're looking for someone to grow with us. Role Description As the first face and voice of Foster Wallace, you set the tone for every client experience. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Kansas City office. You'll be the person who answers the phone with warmth, greets clients who are often walking in on one of the hardest days of their lives, and keeps the front of the house running smoothly so the rest of the team can focus on their work. Your responsibilities will include answering and routing incoming calls, greeting and checking in clients and guests, handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining a welcoming front office environment, and providing general administrative support to the team as needed. This role has real growth potential. We notice people who show up consistently and take pride in their work. Qualifications Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing experience preferred A warm, professional phone presence; you are often the first impression we make Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay calm and focused in a busy environment Reliable, punctual, and takes the role seriously; this position is the heartbeat of our front office Spanish fluency is a real plus Someone looking to build, not just fill time Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00, in office Compensation & Benefits $18-20 @ hour; this is a non-exempt position Health, dental, and vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with firm contributions after one year PTO and personal holidays Performance-based bonuses that are meaningful; we believe in rewarding people who bring their best We are not working with external recruiters on this search.
