Join our team of knowledgeable independent contractors and their administrative staff who are serving the local clients of First Command Financial Services, Inc. Our office is seeking talented people who have an internal drive, a desire for professional growth and a passion for helping military families get their financial lives squared away. Position Overview The Receptionist is an employee of an independent contractor Financial Advisor. This person reports to the District Advisor, who leads a team of independent contractor Financial Advisors and the administrative personnel they employ.
Receptionist:
Ensures a consistently exceptional experience for all clients served by the local team. Supports the mission of the parent company, First Command• You will be responsible for maintaining all office standards in an effective and efficient manner to ensure the District runs smoothly. As a key member of our local support staff team, you will: Promote a consistently exceptional client experience Greet and interact with clients in person and on the phone Maintain client and prospect files in the client database, including current contact information Schedule and confirm appointments Work with the district and office to maintain a marketing events calendar and plan, and assist with marketing events as needed Manage office communications and record keeping requirements for compliance purposes Pay and Benefits Competitive wages and pleasant work environment Opportunities for professional development The ability to be in control of your career trajectory Portable career opportunities throughout the United States and overseas Qualifications Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated High school diploma Satisfactory completion of background check, fingerprinting and required employment documentation, as well as any screening/hiring tool of required by hiring district •This position is not an employee of First Command. Local administrative personnel are not employees of First Command Financial Services, Inc. They are employed by independent contractors who serve as financial advisors with First Command. These contractors operate as their own business while being affiliated with First Command, providing financial services primarily to military personnel and their families. They are responsible for managing their local offices, including setting pay and benefits for their administrative staff.
