Since 1996, we have maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and have developed a comprehensive suite of housing counseling programs approved by federal agencies. Job Overview We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a welcoming demeanor. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization. Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls efficiently. Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for staff members. Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure the reception area is tidy and organized. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting with basic administrative requests. Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and office management software to perform clerical tasks effectively. Requirements Prior office management or administrative experience, preferably in a professional environment such as healthcare or nonprofit organizations. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry tools. Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Experience in clerical tasks such as filing, proofreading, and calendar management. Knowledge of customer service principles combined with friendly interpersonal skills. Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer support roles related to medical or dental offices is advantageous.
