$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Job description: Our Dental Team is looking for an outstanding experienced Front Desk Coordinator. Our practice is well-established and we are seeking a team member to care for our wonderful family of patients! We value compassionate, honest, and long-lasting relationships with our patients and employees and would like to find someone with the same mindset to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, team orientated and help to create the best dental experience for all of our patients every visit, be open-minded about new techniques and ideas, committed to continued education and comfortable with change all with a positive attitude. This position will have cross training capabilities since we work intimately with each other and there may be assistance needed in the back with sterilization an flipping rooms. The primary position will be as a front desk coordinator position, answering phones, taking payment, scheduling. etc. with additional training for helping assit as needed in the back clinical in the future.
Position Summary:
Patient coordinators are the first point of contact for patients as a practice and also have key responsibilities in many day-to-day administrative office activities. Plan and coordinate supportive services of the practice such as recordkeeping, patient reception, scheduling, and other office support services. Responsible to prepare, present, and schedule patients for treatment plans following Dentist's exam notes and direction. Set up any financial arrangements, collect payments from patients and insurance companies. Files claims for insurance reimbursements. Direct and ensure compliance of office personnel on company policy regarding collection procedures and practices. Must be able to take direction and follow through on tasks given, work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Ability to help put anxious patients at ease Work well (and maintain grace) under pressure with good time management skills Ability to follow directions/protocol Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
