Job Description

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Position Summary We are seeking a warm, organized, and reliable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a vital role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This position handles front-desk reception, answers phone calls and emails, assists with customer support, and performs essential administrative tasks like order processing and data entry. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Reception:
Welcomely greet visitors, manage incoming phone calls, and handle general email inquiries, routing them to the appropriate team members professionally and promptly.
Customer Support:
Serve as a friendly point of contact for retail, wholesale, and private label customers, answering basic questions about orders and product availability.
Order Processing:
Accurately enter and confirm sales orders, verify pricing/details, and assist with basic invoicing or data tracking.
Office Administration:
Maintain office files, manage incoming/outgoing mail, monitor office supplies, and provide general administrative support to management and the finance/HR team as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service office role is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks or order-entry systems is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience working within a food production, manufacturing, or wholesale office environment is a plus, but not required.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and a reliable "can-do" attitude. Schedule & Environment This is a full-time, in-person position with a fantastic daytime schedule that gives you Friday afternoons off!
Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Includes a flexible 30-minute lunch break) . Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience and ability.
