Our Coordinator s are expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills. To ensure success, the newly hire should be a confident and professional administrator with fantastic attention to details, communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient's needs. Brief Description of the
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service.
  • Schedules appointments for the providers to optimize patient satisfaction, provider's time and most effective use of examining and treatment rooms.
  • Prepares a daily schedule of provider charts for each patient.
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments
  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record systems
  • Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
  • Opens and sorts office mail. Delivers outgoing mail to the post office by the afternoon.
  • Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Maintains business inventory such as checking supplies .
Front-Desk/Call Center Coordinator Requirements:
  • High school (minimum), Bachelor's degree (advantageous).
  • At least one year of experience at a healthcare facility (preferred).
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Good attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
  • Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients who may be upset or stressed
  • Passionate about healthcare excellence.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Benefits
