Job Description

A very busy Real Estate law office in Surf City is seeking an energetic, reliable front desk receptionist.
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN IN JACKSONVILLE FOR 2
WEEKS, then work in Surf City. The Ideal candidate would be someone willing to cross train into other departments! Someone wanting to become a paralegal could benefit from this role. Most people who start in this role move on to other departments within 2 years. Excellent opportunity to grow with the company! Pay $16/hr
Hours :
8:30am to 5pm with 30 minute lunch break Monday to
Friday Duties:
Client & Visitor Management :
Warmly greet clients, determine their needs, offer refreshments, and direct them to the right staff.
Communication :
Answer, screen, and forward calls; take detailed messages; respond to emails; manage internal and external correspondence.
Scheduling :
Book and confirm appointments, manage attorney calendars, and coordinate meeting rooms.
Administrative Support :
Sort and distribute mail/deliveries, file documents, copy, scan, and prepare basic correspondence.
Office Management :
Maintain tidy reception/common areas, manage office supplies, and coordinate equipment maintenance.
Financial/Legal Tasks :
Process payments, track basic financial records, potentially run conflict searches, and handle incoming legal filings. Essential Skills & Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with phone systems, calendars, and basic office software. Professional demeanor, good business etiquette, and a proactive attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment. Legal experience or familiarity with legal terms is often a plus MUST have clean background, ability to pass a drug test, and a soft employment credit check.

From $16.00 per hour
