Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Receptionist at Team CDJR of Morganton serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role is pivotal in managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative tasks to facilitate smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a positive and professional demeanor. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel. Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, distributing them to the correct recipients. Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management. Assist in coordinating meetings and events, preparing necessary materials and refreshments. Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered by Team CDJR of Morganton Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and customer satisfaction. Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification in office administration or related field preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Experience in an automotive dealership or similar environment is advantageous. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
