Sukho Thai Massage is a small, woman-owned business located just minutes from Crabtree Valley Mall with a positive and unique environment that fosters self care and personal growth. We utilize a Thai-on-the-Table style of massage that incorporates both Eastern and Western massage practices we refer to as "Thai Fusion". We strive to incorporate both traditional and modern practices to provide our clients with the best experience possible, and that experience starts with you! We are looking for receptionists that can work 18 - 32 hours per week. We are looking for candidates that are available to work both weekdays and weekends. An ideal candidate would be willing to work two opening shifts and two closing shifts per week, and who has flexibility within their schedule to work as a floater to cover shifts if necessary throughout the entire week.
Shift Schedules:
8:30am-3pm and 3pm-9:00pm Friday - Sunday 8:30am-3pm and 3pm-9:00pm Monday - Thursday. ~~~~~~~~~ A Front Desk Receptionist at a Sukho Thai Massage plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Their responsibilities include:
Customer Service & Client Interaction Greet clients warmly upon arrival and make them feel comfortable. Answer phone calls, emails, and messages professionally. Provide accurate information about services, therapists, and availability. Handle client concerns or complaints calmly and efficiently. Offer water, tea, or amenities to waiting clients. Appointment Management Utilize the scheduling program correctly and efficiently (Knowledge of GlossGenius is a plus, but not necessary) Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments. Manage therapist schedules to avoid double bookings or gaps. Send appointment reminders via text, email, or phone. Check clients in and out, ensuring smooth flow between sessions. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Collect intake forms and ensure clients complete necessary paperwork. Process payments (cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.). Track package deals, memberships, and loyalty programs. Handle daily cash reconciliation or reporting. Retail & Product Sales Promote and sell spa products, gift certificates, and service packages. Keep the front area tidy and merchandise well-organized. Facility Oversight Ensure the lobby, bathrooms, and front area remain clean and stocked. Communicate with therapists and management about any issues. Wash, dry, and fold laundry for the spa. Make tea for clients and set up basic needs for therapists and clients prior to opening. Report maintenance or supply needs to management. Follow checklists, procedures, and routines as set by management. Miscellaneous Uphold a calm, professional, spa-like atmosphere at all times. Maintain discretion and uphold privacy/HIPAA standards. Support the team with any additional administrative tasks as needed. ~~~~~~~~~ Pay and Benefits Front Desk Receptionists typically receive $14-$16 per hour based on experience. We also offer commissions on retail sales and massage add-ons. Raises and PTO available after 1 year part-time employment.
