Job Description

We're looking for a friendly, dog loving, and energetic team member. We want individuals who enjoy interacting with clients and can manage phone calls/emails/walk in clients and be able to work with our pups as well. Responsible for the following tasks The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups. Greet everyone who walks in or out. Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person. Check pups in and out of daycare/boarding. Share information about our daycare packages with Pet Parents. Our focus is on the overall health and wellbeing of not only the dog in our care but the quality of life that a happy, healthy dog provides its parents, as well. Ensure our furry friends are always in a safe and clean environment we take pride in working as a team to get all the nitty gritty complete Maintain and update cleaning schedule, along with holding themselves and team accountable for safety and cleaning standards Communicate with your manager if you see any issues with pups engaging in behaviors not in accordance with our shops standards and be able to pass on the Manager's decision to pet parents if necessary Keeps the team members engaged in their duties. Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Must be energetic, proactive, and a creative problem solver. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and at times stressful environment. Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette. Jack of all trades, roll up your sleeves type of person. This role is integral in growing the business alongside the General Manager. Not afraid to jump in whenever and wherever is needed. Committed to the success of the team and not just the individual role.
Education and Experience:
1 year in a sales or customer service-related role Excellent customer service skills Internet, Basic computer program software use. High school diploma required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be able to check dogs in and out and manage leashed dogs during the check in process.
