Job Description

Job Summary:
The Administrative Receptionist performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, payroll, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate sales person. Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and departmental files. Receives, records, and distributes packages and mail. Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence. Works with the retail counter on cash transactions and cash box responsibilities. Performs other related duties as needed such as, but not limited to, answering phones, ordering and maintaining office supplies. Basic understanding of AP accounting clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Qualifications:
Proficient in computer skills, office management, and customer service. Excellent customer service and phone etiquette Familiarity with accounting software. Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations Strong organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. 1 year of customer service work experience is preferred. 1 year of AP or entry level Accounting experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
