Madison, NJ 07940 Job Summary The Automotive Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient customer experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to support dealership operations and administration. Primary Duties Greet all customers and answer phone calls promptly to create a positive first impression. Maintain accurate filing of receipts and permits for efficient record keeping and data retrieval. Support other employees by sharing knowledge and contributing to business process improvements. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service, and cost control in daily activities. Guide customers to the appropriate departments for assistance as needed. Verify receipt of payments and permits using consistent tracking methods. Maintain a reliable work schedule and punctuality to foster dependability for customers and team members. Communicate effectively with management and complete assigned tasks professionally. Operate with integrity and uphold the highest ethical standards. Exemplify a positive attitude and professionalism, maintaining a neat and safe work environment. Work Schedule This is a full-time position, working five days a week including some Saturdays. Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least one year of reception experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications. Minimum of one year of customer service experience. Strong professional communication skills. Physical Requirements Work performed primarily in an administrative dealership setting with in-person interaction. May be exposed to varying weather conditions. Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, and move within the facility. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Vision sufficient to focus and operate equipment safely. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
