Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Part Time Veterinary Receptionist at a Cat Only Hospital and become the welcoming face of our catcare facility! This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about animals and eager to provide exceptional customer service. You'll be the first point of contact for pet owners, ensuring smooth communication, appointment scheduling, and administrative support. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for both clients and their beloved pets. This paid position offers flexible hours tailored to fit your schedule while contributing to the well-being of animals and supporting our veterinary team. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for appointments Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using our practice management software Collect payments, process medical billing, and handle insurance claims with accuracy Maintain detailed records of pet health histories, treatments, and laboratory results Communicate clearly with clients about pet care instructions, follow-up appointments, and medication needs Support veterinary staff by handling phone inquiries, appointment confirmations, and client follow-ups Assist with inventory management of pet supplies, medications, and laboratory materials Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Experience Previous experience in veterinary reception or a customer service role preferred but not required Knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical collections, and laboratory procedures is a plus Experience with kennel management or animal husbandry enhances your ability to support our team effectivelyl Strong communication skills combined with a passion for animal welfare will help you excel in this role Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
