Job Description

ALT Spinal Health & Rehab is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing multidisciplinary injury clinic in Plainfield, NJ. This role is essential in creating a professional and welcoming experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting, has strong communication skills, and is able to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries Verify insurance information and assist with intake paperwork Collect required documentation and ensure patient files are complete Maintain organization of the front desk and waiting area Assist with appointment confirmations and follow-up communication with patients Coordinate communication with attorneys, medical offices, and insurance representatives when needed Requirements Previous front desk, receptionist, medical office, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in an office setting Comfortable using computers and scheduling systems Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in a physical therapy, chiropractic, medical, or personal injury office Familiarity with insurance verification and patient scheduling Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in an organized clinical environment, and wants to grow with a modern outpatient practice focused on high-quality patient care.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
