THE CLIENT
Our client is a leading investment firm based in New York, known for its collaborative, high-performing environment and strong commitment to professionalism and integrity. THE ROLE
The firm is seeking a polished and personable Receptionist to oversee front-of-house operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, and thrives in a professional, fast-paced setting. This individual will work closely with administrative and operations teams and play an important role in maintaining a seamless and positive office experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting guests, clients, and vendors with professionalism and warmth Managing incoming calls and directing inquiries appropriately Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring spaces are organized and presentable Supporting general office operations and administrative tasks Assisting with mail, deliveries, and courier services Partnering with internal teams to support events and office initiatives Maintaining a polished and organized front desk area
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be personable, polished, and confident, with a natural ability to make others feel welcome. While attitude and potential are highly valued, candidates should have prior reception or front-of-house experience. The firm is open to individuals who demonstrate strong potential, a positive mindset, and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
Key qualities include:
Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Eagerness to contribute and grow within the organization Reliable, punctual, and proactive Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience within a corporate or professional services environment required
THE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
