Job Description

Nurstead Mental Health & Consulting Services has been creating programs and services that have never existed here in Eastern New Mexico join us in creating a shift in behavioral health in the communities of Eastern New Mexico. As Nurstead continues to grow we are seeking new additions to our outpatient therapy department. With the expansion of services in Portales and Roosevelt County we are looking for a receptionist for our newly remodeled offices in the Red Caboose building. Overview We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. Additionally, this position will also fill the role as a Community Support Worker in our Drop-In Center, at this location. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette. Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents Experience Previous office experience is essential. Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Previous clerical experience will be beneficial in managing office operations effectively. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
of Community Support Worker To provide individualized, ongoing guidance, coaching and support. To provide training in the use of personal and community resources. Assist in developing formal and informal community supports. Assist the person served in increasing social support networks of relatives, friends and/or significant others. To offer encouragement in times of crisis. To advocate on behalf of persons with behavioral health problems to protect the client's rights and to assist in reducing associated stigma. To work in cooperation with other providers, family members or significant others involved in the client's recovery plan. To attend Agency staff meetings, Case Conferences and Individual and Group Supervision. To observe all rules of confidentiality relating to clinical information and treatment, both internally and when dealing with external agencies and/or individuals. Engage with and provide follow up services to individuals seen by mobile crisis team members. To be responsible for understanding client's rights policy and procedures. To participate in staff training and development. To maintain professional standards at all times. To observe the guidelines established within the Code of Ethics and Conduct. To perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience for this position is based on education level.
High School/GED:
Must have two years experience.
Bachelor Degree:
Must have one year experience.
Master Degree:
No experience required.
LANGUAGE
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
