This vital role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing front-office operations, and ensuring smooth clinic workflows. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while handling administrative tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community health in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly in both English and Spanish, ensuring a positive first impression Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes Schedule patient appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Collect and review patient documentation, including intake forms, medical history, and consent forms Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management Support clinic operations by managing medical office tasks such as filing, data entry, and appointment reminders Requirements Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably within primary care Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective patient communication Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple phone lines and patient inquiries simultaneously Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Strong organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy clinic setting while maintaining professionalism under pressure
