We provide a warm, professional, and confidential environment for our clients and staff. As we expand, we are seeking a compassionate and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. Position Overview This is a full-time position ideal for someone who is empathetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a mental health setting. Hours are Monday through Friday, approximately [Start Time] to [End Time]. The right candidate will bring professionalism, discretion, and a genuine care for people to this role. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in clients in a warm, professional, and confidential manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls; schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or fees at time of service Maintain accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate scheduling with therapists and clinical staff Manage office supplies, mail, and general office organization Respond to client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism Handle sensitive situations calmly, compassionately, and with discretion Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred 1-2 years of front desk, administrative, or medical/mental health office experience preferred Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and mental health privacy standards a plus Experience with scheduling or EHR software (e.g., SimplePractice, TherapyNotes) a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive or emotionally charged situations Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive pay commensurate with experience Health benefits package Paid time off and holidays Supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding practice
