Job Description

OVERVIEW
As a Receptionist of Workshoppe Fitness, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional service and a warm welcome. You will play a vital role in creating a positive, professional atmosphere while ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your responsibilities will include managing member check-ins, scheduling appointments, handling phone inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front area, ensuring it aligns with our high standards of service. A key focus will be on delivering an exceptional customer experience, building strong relationships with members, and supporting the overall goals of the health club. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
DUTIES :
Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-ins, verify membership status Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departments. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area that aligns with the club's high standards. Ensure the security of the health club by monitoring member access and checking in guests according to club policies. Assist with member concerns or complaints by providing excellent customer service and escalating issues when necessary. Process payments for membership dues, services, and retail purchases. Assist members with managing billing information Promote and inform members of upcoming events Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold the health club's standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and customer care. Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Minimum of 1 year in customer service or related experience Health club experience is a plus Must be punctual, possess general computer literacy, display a positive attitude Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients Personal passion for fitness, health, sports is preferred Standing for long periods of time, sitting, walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height Must be able to push, pull, hold and lift up to 50 lbs
COMPENSATION
: Hourly.
