We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our establishment. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and provide exceptional customer service to clients. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to enhancing confidence and style through personalized hair solutions. Responsibilities Welcome and assist clients in person, phone, email, and chat Schedule and confirm appointments Manage client check-in and check-out Process payments and maintain front desk operations Assist with retail product, wig, and hair care sales Support salon staff and ensure an exceptional client experience Maintain a professional and organized reception area Work closely with salon assistants and stylists to help keep daily operations running smoothly Assist salon assistants with light salon duties and shared responsibilities as needed Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment Experience Prior office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Basic computer and scheduling software skills Must be a team player who works well with others Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Hairdressing, salon, hair replacement, wig, or beauty industry experience is a plus Social Media skills a plus About HairPlaceNYC For decades, HairPlaceNYC has been recognized as one of New York City's leading destinations for salon services, hair replacement, wigs, hair restoration solutions, and medical hair loss services.
