Assistant General Manager Job Overview:
As the first point of contact for members and guests, a receptionist must be able to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills. attitude, and a passion for hospitality. Essential functions include answering telephones, greeting members and guests as they arrive, and assisting with restaurant and event reservations.
Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, direct calls to appropriate departments and take messages. Manage reservations for dining, events, and other club services. Assist with member check-ins and provide information about club amenities. Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure seamless service. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Expectations:
Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or higher. A minimum of one year in a reception related role. Experience is a resort, club or hospitality industry setting is a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
