Job Description

Job Overview The Patient Advocate / Administrative Assitant plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the care they need to meet their health goals. This person will shares the benefits of our services with current and prospective clients and will work directly with them by scheduling appointments, procuring outside records, working as a liason between the physician's and patient and ensure a postive and healing experience.   • Pay rate depends on level of education, experience, availability and more. If you are chosen for an interview and an official offer is made, your exact pay rate will be discussed. Duties
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and providers to ensure effective communication and understanding of treatment plans.
  • Assist patients in the onboarding process
  • Ensure patients recieve the abosulte best we can provide regarding their care, advocating for their needs and preferences while adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support patients in understanding their rights and responsibilities as it pertains to our office.
  • Educate patients on available resources, services, testing options and arranging educational opportunities for them to learn more from providers
  • Document interactions with patients and providers to ensure accurate and complete records. Experience
  • A person that enjoys interaction with others and has a proven ability to multi task.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
  • A friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge and experience with scheduling appointments, handling paperwork is a plus
  • Experience with using a computer is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and get along with others.
