Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The position would initially be part time with the intention of becoming full time. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations within our medical office, requiring a blend of clerical skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage multi-line phone systems, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate patient flow efficiently. Gather patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification processes. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle clerical duties such as filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office and clinic OMS system Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed. Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-maintained. Skills Experience with OMS system is preferred. Strong computer skills including typing proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation review. Capability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
