Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our team at Merit House Rehab and Nursing, LLC in Toledo, OH. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff, and provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Maintain resident and facility records with accuracy and confidentiality Assist with admissions paperwork and administrative documentation Sort and distribute mail and deliveries Schedule appointments, meetings, and transportation as needed Provide clerical support, including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry Maintain office supplies and reception area organization Support compliance with HIPAA and facility policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or healthcare office experience preferred Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate compassion when interacting with residents and families If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping others, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our healthcare team.
