We stand out in many ways, and though the profession is at times difficult, we have found that pride in the important work we do, along with appreciation--sometimes to the point of tears--from our customers makes the hard work worth it. We go way beyond vaccines, routine surgeries and a cushy 9-5 schedule. We work hard, we help those who at times are truly in dire need of help, we go home tired, we rest, we play, or party, and spend time with our families, and then after fully resting we do it all over again.
