Our supreme example of a Shepherd is "The Good Shepherd", Jesus Christ. Position Summary We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our long-term care team. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and secure environment within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front entrance Monitor and respond appropriately to door alarms and facility entry systems Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and general inquiries Maintain communication logs and front desk documentation Support administrative staff with clerical duties as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Communicate effectively with nursing staff and department leaders regarding visitor or resident concerns Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer and telephone system knowledge Ability to multitask and remain organized Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable attendance and punctuality required
