Job Description

Thank you for your interest in joining the team at Waterloo Animal Hospital! We are a small animal veterinary practice located in Edmond, Oklahoma. We are excited to continue growing our team and creating a positive, supportive environment for both our staff and our clients. We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM No weekends What Does a Veterinary Receptionist Do? Our reception team plays an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for our clients and patients. Veterinary receptionists are often the first and last impression of our hospital, and this role is vital to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones and assisting clients Scheduling appointments Greeting clients and checking patients in and out Processing payments and managing financial information Communicating effectively between clients and medical staff Identifying urgent or emergency situations appropriately Providing compassionate customer service in both routine and emotional situations The ideal candidate: Enjoys working with both people and pets Is friendly, organized, and efficient Remains calm and professional in fast-paced situations Communicates clearly and confidently Multitasks well and handles interruptions with grace Believes strongly in quality veterinary care and client education Creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every client who walks through our doors We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and excited to grow with our hospital.
