Front Desk Receptionist MVP Dance Elite Beaverton, OR Job Details Part-time $17 - $19 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Personal service experience with children No experience needed Working with children Appointment scheduling Full Job Description Job Overview We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dance studio. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and families, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized, and is excited to be part of a positive team environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable using a computer, communicates professionally, enjoys learning new software and systems, and has a cheerful personality that helps every dancer and family feel welcome from the moment they walk through our doors. Duties & Responsibilities Greet dancers, families, and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude. Answer emails and respond professionally and promptly. Answer phone calls and assist with general questions. Learn and use our studio software for registration, scheduling, and other daily tasks. Perform basic office and administrative duties. Help keep the front desk organized and presentable. Clean mirrors, windows, floors, and common areas throughout the studio. Restock bathrooms and maintain cleanliness throughout the day. Keep snack and beverage areas stocked and monitor inventory. Assist children when needed by answering questions, helping them find classrooms, and creating a positive experience. Support studio staff with daily operations and special events. Help prepare for recitals, competitions, and other studio events as needed. Preferred (But Not Required) : Knowledge of the dance world, including a basic understanding of dance classes, recitals, competitions, and studio culture. Dance experience is not required, but familiarity with the dance environment is a huge plus. Hours for this job would be evenings during the week likely starting at 4 pm and ending between 9 and 1o pm. Likely one 1 - 2 days per week. Option to hopefully add Saturday morning from 9 am to 2 pm.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
