Salon Assistant/Receptionist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Salon Assistant at our children's hair salon. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with children, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to handle various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the salon.

Customer Service:

Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service. Greeting and assisting clients in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Managing appointment bookings and ensuring an organized schedule.

Check-In and Check-Out:

Welcoming clients upon arrival and checking them in for their appointments. Efficiently handling check-out procedures, including processing payments and issuing receipts.

Light Housekeeping:

Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the salon. Assisting with light housekeeping duties to create a comfortable and hygienic environment.

Supporting Stylists:

Assisting stylists with tasks as needed. Ensuring the salon is well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements:

Excellent Communication Skills:

Clear and friendly communication with clients and team members. Proficient in phone etiquette.

Customer-Focused Attitude:

A passion for providing outstanding customer service, especially in a family-friendly environment.

Organization and Multi-Tasking:

Ability to manage appointments, handle check-in/check-out processes, and assist with various tasks simultaneously.

Punctuality and Reliability:
