Modern office setting On-the-job training Plexi-glass protection from direct face-to-face contact with the public Fast paced Multi-tasking Experienced staff We're looking for responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team of Veterinary Receptionists. This position is crucial to the day-to-day operations of our clinic, so we are looking for a receptionist who can assist our veterinary team with answering questions from clients, scheduling appointments, taking payments and keeping our clinic organized. Although this is a non-clinical position, the successful candidate will have experience working with both animals and people and will have a genuine concern for pet health and wellness. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Take accurate messages at the veterinarian's request. Ensure that animals are supervised when in the waiting room. Answer questions and give out information on behalf of the veterinarian. Be courteous to visitors. Provide customer service to clients. Be aware of the need for confidentiality of information about clients.
