Company Overview Total Eye Care Centers is a leading ophthalmic and optometric practice located in Levittown, PA and Newtown, PA. We provide integrated care and progressive treatment for eye health through our comprehensive services, including Primary Comprehensive Eye Care, Glaucoma, Retina and Pediatric services, Contact Lenses, Glasses and LASIK services. Overview Got the charm to make customers smile and the patience of a saint? You might just be our next healthcare hero. We are seeking a phone center team member to join our team in PA. Must be able to travel to both Levittown and Newtown . Hours may vary and will include some nights and weekends. We are looking for staff members who are reliable, energetic, like working closely with others and have first-rate communication and customer service skills that always put the patient first. This is a fast-paced position where multi-tasking is required. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional front desk support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Manage multi-line phone systems to handle appointment scheduling, inquiries, and internal communications with professionalism. Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems to ensure seamless record keeping and confidentiality. Support office management tasks including calendar management, appointment coordination, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software. Provide customer support by addressing patient questions, assisting with forms, and ensuring a positive experience. Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace to prepare documents, correspondence, and reports. Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent time management skills. Skills Proven experience in front desk operations within an office or healthcare environment. Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and office management software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Strong clerical skills including data entry, proofreading, filing, and calendar management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks quickly in a busy setting. Familiarity with customer service principles and administrative support functions such as personal assistant duties and bookkeeping using QuickBooks. Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette, customer support, and office communication. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
