Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Credentialing Specialist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with credentialing duties, ensuring smooth patient interactions and seamless provider onboarding. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our compliance with industry standards. Duties Schedule patients, visitors, and staff, providing excellent customer service at the front desk Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries efficiently Verify patient insurance information and assist with check-in procedures Collect, review, and organize provider credentials to ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements Support the onboarding process for new providers by gathering necessary documentation and verifying credentials Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and organizational policies Requirements Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes Familiarity with managed care concepts and insurance verification procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor Highly organized with keen attention to detail to maintain accurate records Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a thriving healthcare organization. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
