Receptionist / Sales Representative
  • Auto Detailing, Ceramic Coating, PPF & Tint Brakeout Auto | State College, PA | Full-Time | On-Site
ABOUT US
Brakeout Auto is State College's go-to shop for premium auto detailing, ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF), and window tinting. We operate out of a physical shop location and a mobile rig, serving customers who take pride in how their vehicles look and how well they're protected. We're growing fast and looking for a friendly, driven front desk receptionist to be the face and voice of our shop — welcoming customers, managing our calls, and turning our strong lead flow into booked jobs.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a front desk role where you're the first person customers meet, hear, and trust. You'll greet walk-ins, answer and make calls, respond to web and social media leads, and keep the front of house running smoothly. Your income is directly tied to your effort: the more customers you help and jobs you book, the more you earn. There's no cold calling — our leads come to us. If you're a people person who's organized, self-motivated, and hungry to earn, this role has real upside.
COMPENSATION
  • Base Pay:
    $14 per hour
  • Commission:
    5% on all collected revenue you close, paid out when the customer's payment is collected. No caps, no tiers.
  • Annual Revenue Bonus (based on your own collected revenue): $1,000 at $250,000+ collected; $2,000 at $300,000+; $3,000 at $350,000+; $4,000 at $400,000+; $6,000 at $500,000+ collected.
  • OTE (On-Target Earnings): $30,000
  • 50,000+ per year based on current lead volume
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in person, creating a welcoming first impression
  • Answer and make calls, and respond promptly to Meta/social media leads and online quote requests
  • Educate customers on our services (detailing, ceramic coating, PPF, tint) and guide them toward the right package for their needs
  • Provide accurate quotes and follow up with prospects to close jobs
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with our shop and mobile teams
  • Keep the front desk and reception area organized and running smoothly
  • Track your leads and follow-ups to maximize close rate
  • Represent the Brakeout Auto brand with enthusiasm and professionalism
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Strong communicator, confident and personable on the phone and in person
  • Professional, presentable, and comfortable being the face of the shop
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up
  • Genuine interest in cars and automotive appearance services is a big plus
  • Prior sales or front desk experience is helpful but not required. We'll train the right person.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
  • Full-time, on-site position at our State College, PA shop
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch (40 hours/week)
  • You'll be working from our location, greeting customers and managing calls in person
