Job Description

About us Audiology Center of North Texas, LLC is a small business in Southlake, TX. We are professional and our goal is to provide a sense of community and help those who are in need of better hearing health care. We are a single provider office needs a friendly and outgoing candidate to join our small team. Candidates should have proficient computer skills and general knowledge of medical insurance. The candidate must also be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, and have strong time management skills. This candidate will become a part of our very close-knit team that cares deeply for our patients.. Job Duties/Responsibilities to include but are not limited to: Patient interaction (greeting patients for appointments, talking about supplies/services) Managing phones (scheduling, gathering new patient info, triage) Scheduling/confirming appointments with current and new patients (phone, e-mail, text) Audit upcoming appointments - physician or TTP referral/order has been received if required, questionnaire emailed/received, blanks are filled in Ability to gather accurate insurance information from patients Patient intake questionnaires, scanning, and data entry Monitor incoming and outgoing faxes and manage failed faxes Monitor e-mail (all day) Collecting payment from patients at time of service Monitor incoming and outbound faxes/emails Working closely with the owner/audiologist Triage patient needs - malfunctioning hearing aids, appointments, supplies Open/Close office
Position Qualifications:
Strong communication skills Ability to effectively communicate with hearing impaired Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook , Excel and office EMR system Familiar with HIPAA guidelines

High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred) Computer skills: 2 years (Preferred)
