Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a Contract position in Charleston, South Carolina. This position will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal staff. The ideal candidate brings clear communication skills and a detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and creating a welcoming experience for guests and staff.
- Handle a multi-line phone system efficiently, routing calls accurately and taking detailed messages when needed.
- Coordinate calendars and arrange appointments to support smooth day-to-day scheduling needs.
- Prepare, send, and respond to email communications with care and attention to detail.
- Enter and update information in office records while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files so documents remain accessible and up to date.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to complete administrative tasks, track information, and support office communication.
- Support additional clerical activities as needed to keep reception and administrative workflows running efficiently. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while maintaining a courteous and detail-focused demeanor.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for routine administrative work.
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience handling email correspondence and scheduling appointments in a detail-focused environment.
- Ability to organize files, manage multiple priorities, and work independently during a short-term assignment.
