Veterinary Receptionist

We're a privately owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in beautiful Summerville, and we're looking for a warm, welcoming, and organized front desk superstar to join our team. If you're the kind of person who… Notices when someone walks in and greets them with a smile, Can put anxious pet parents at ease with just a few kind words, Keeps your cool under pressure and always seems to be two steps ahead — …then you might be the perfect fit. This role is so much more than answering phones and checking clients in. You'll be the first voice our clients hear, the first face they see, and the last impression they leave with. In other words, you'll help shape the entire client experience — and we think that's a pretty big deal. If you love pets, people, and being the calm in the daily chaos, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the friendly face (and voice) of our hospital, you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly — and making every client and pet feel genuinely cared for. You'll be:
  • Welcoming clients and patients with empathy and warmth
  • Managing phone calls, emails, text messages, scheduling, and reminders with clarity and professionalism
  • Handling check-outs and payments with care and attention to detail
  • Collaborating with the medical team to ensure smooth patient flow and a seamless client experience
  • Recognizing that your presence, words, and energy matter to every person and every pet that walks through our doors. You're a great fit if:

  • Midnight, Monday through Saturday, and our shifts are set up on a 1-2 week rotation with 12-hour shifts. Don't worry
  • it's not as intense as it sounds. You'll work just 3 days a week and enjoy 4 days off to recharge. Here's how the shifts break down:
Open:
6:45am
  • 7:45pm
Mid:
8am
  • 9pm
Second:
9:30am
  • 10:30pm
Close:
10:30am
  • midnight Right now, we're especially looking for team members to cover the later shifts ( second & close) .
