Health Unit Clerk Fall River Health Services Long Term Care Pay Range:
$17.40 $19.66/hour
Schedule:
7:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m. (some flexibility with start and end times needed). Full-Time 40 hours a week. Are you organized, compassionate, and passionate about supporting resident care? Join the team at Fall River Health Services as a Health Unit Clerk and play an essential role in helping provide safe, efficient, and resident-centered care in our long-term care environment. This position combines clerical support, resident interaction, communication, and teamwork to help ensure residents receive the highest quality of care and service every day. What Youll Do As a Health Unit Clerk, you will support nursing staff and residents through a variety of clerical and resident-focused responsibilities, including: Answering phones and EMS radio communicationsProcessing physician orders and maintaining resident chartsEntering documentation into PointClickCareScheduling appointments and arranging resident transportationAccompanying or driving residents to appointments and outingsAssisting with resident activities, meal delivery, and answering call lightsManaging medical and personal care supply inventoryMaintaining organized and stocked supply roomsAssisting with admissions, transfers, and discharge processesSupporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staffCommunicating effectively with residents, families, providers, and team members What Were Looking For Strong communication and organizational skillsCompassionate, team-oriented attitudeBasic computer and office equipment knowledgeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environmentPositive attitude and flexibility with changing needs and schedulesCommitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent resident service Why Join Fall River Health Services?
