Job Description

Cypress Grove Post Acute is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Jackson, Tennessee, offering 170 certified beds. The facility is both Medicare- and Medicaid-certified, providing services such as long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialized support, including dietary planning and therapy. Position Overview:
The Receptionist role is to perform clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. The Receptionist interfaces with the public visiting the facility and by telephone, communicates with outside agencies, and ensures that the facility is a positive choice for seniors. Promptly answer all incoming calls proper telephone etiquette (professional, creditable, pleasant and sincere). Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Greet visitors, Direct to appropriate office and/or residents' room. Receive, sort and distribute mail as directed. Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone members of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc. Maintain the resident/visitor check in/out system, and retains daily list for six months.
Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma education or its equivalent. Must have at least 2-year experience in a clerical position, or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school/college. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous phone etiquette. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to interact with residents, families, visitors, and staff with professionalism and compassion.

PRN:
Night and weekend shifts available: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
