Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Coordinator/Kennel Tech to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff. Experience in veterinary settings or pet care environments is highly desirable. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and handle client inquiries efficiently. Maintain accurate records of client information, pet details, and medical histories. Assist in the coordination of check-ins and check-outs. Provide information regarding services offered, including grooming, and pet sitting. Handle cash transactions and process payments as needed. Support the Team with animal handling, restraint, and care during visits. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall client experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for animals Provide companionship and playtime for animals. Feed and administer medications as needed. Clean up after animals. Walk and exercise animals. Monitor animal behavior and health. Keep detailed records of pet care activities. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or pet care environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint methods. Experience in dog training or grooming is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or supplies. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is essential. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and schedules.
