Veterinary Receptionist & Social Media Specialist Parkway Animal Hospital - Sevierville, TN Parkway Animal Hospital is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist & Social Media Specialist to join our team. This position combines front-desk responsibilities with managing the hospital's social media presence. The ideal candidate will have prior receptionist experience, excellent communication skills, creativity in content creation, and a genuine compassion for animals and their owners. ResponsibilitiesReceptionist Duties Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Assist clients with questions regarding animal care, wellness, and hospital services Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Greet clients and patients upon arrival Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain and update client and patient information in the hospital management system Provide exceptional customer service and support to pet owners Assist with general administrative and front-desk duties Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff Social Media Duties Create and manage content for the hospital's social media platforms Develop engaging posts, photos, videos, and educational content related to pet health and hospital services Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner Promote special events, services, and community outreach activities Assist with marketing initiatives to increase community engagement and brand awareness Track social media performance and recommend strategies for growth Qualifications Prior receptionist experience required Experience managing social media accounts for a business preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Basic computer, data-entry, and social media platform proficiency Creative mindset with attention to detail Professional demeanor and positive attitude Compassion for animals and empathy toward pet owners Ability to work effectively as part of a team What We're Looking For We are seeking a dependable and friendly individual who can create a welcoming experience for our clients while helping grow our online presence.
