Pooch Playhouse & Boarding Pooch Playhouse is looking for a dependable, upbeat Seasonal Receptionist to join our team during our busy season. This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well under pressure with both pets and people. We are specifically looking for someone with strong Saturday availability and evening availability. Night shifts are a major need for this position, with typical hours running from 1:00 PM to close, around 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and pets during check-in and pick-up Answer phones, emails, and online inquiries in a professional and friendly manner Schedule daycare, boarding, grooming, and evaluation appointments Process payments and manage front desk transactions Maintain accurate client and pet records in the system Keep the lobby and front areas clean, organized, and welcoming Assist team members with daily operations as needed Help maintain a safe and positive environment for pets, clients, and staff Handle client concerns calmly and professionally

Requirements:

MUST be available Saturdays MUST be available for evening shifts, typically 1:00 PM to close around 7:00 PM Holiday availability preferred Comfortable around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and able to multitask Able to work in a busy, team-oriented environment High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service or animal care experience preferred, but not required Why Work at Pooch Playhouse?
