Job Description

We are looking for a Head Front Desk team member to work along side two RDAs, dental hygienist and 2 Doctor's, at our Cedar Park practice. The position is full-time, with a great salary (based on experience), with immediate start. The position would be advanced, and not an intro position. The person would be completing check-in and check-out duties , collecting payments, posting on ledgers and scheduling patients, treatment plan presentation, collections, and billing. We are looking for someone with skills in treatment planning & financing patient care as core competencies, and general skills in insurance verification, scheduling and answering phones. Bilingual skillset is required ,due to the patient-base and providing proper patient communication. We are happy to train as needed on our systems and protocols. The hours are Monday-Thursday 8am
  • 5pm and Fridays 8am-12pm.

As a result, we have outstanding patient reviews ,a high referral base ,and growing fast. We are fully digital ,using the latest in dental technology, to achieve superior results. In addition, we also have our own in-office dental lab that completes all the lab work for our offices. .
The duties include the following:
  • greet patients
  • check patients out after treatment and help schedule their next appointment
  • register new patients according to established office protocols
  • assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
  • verify and update patient information inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
  • move patients through appointments as scheduled
  • enter all relevant patient information into data system
  • maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
  • answer and manage incoming calls respond and comply to requests for information
  • schedule patient appointments confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol check daily appointment schedule arrange patient charts for next day appointments
  • fill in cancellations and no-shows organize referrals to other medical specialists
  • dispatch lab work appropriately collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment
  • sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post
  • update patient education materials maintain a professional reception area
  • safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality' '
