Front Desk Receptionist

Our dynamic Ophthalmology Practice has an immediate opening for a motivated front desk receptionist. We are a rapidly growing sub specialty Ophthalmology practice that offers a wide range of ophthalmology services. With our surgeon we have created a team of optometrists and technicians that tailor a customized eye health solution for all of our patients. We are currently looking for part-time receptionist for our Eagle Pass location. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive medical benefits. General Position Description Patient Greeter Phone Operator Appointment Scheduler Obtain/Input patient demographics and insurance information into EMR Complete insurance verification and obtain insurance authorizations Collect co-payments and collect patient balances Assist and initiate patient portal registrations Scanning documents to patients EMR Assisting in medical records outgoing and incoming Complete appointment confirmation Assisting technician in patient phone/medication triage General office duties that is not limited to faxing, copying, emailing, and mailing Requirements Must have a positive attitude while at work with patients and staff Must adhere to company policy and procedures Must be self-motivated to multitask and complete daily tasks Must be able to complete all position description/requirements listed above Must be punctual daily Must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff Must be
