The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a love for animals and a strong understanding of veterinary practices to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Handle medical collections and process payments accurately. Maintain accurate patient records and update client information as needed. Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks during examinations and procedures. Provide information to clients regarding pet care, treatments, and services offered by the clinic. Manage inventory of supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Skills Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy is essential. Experience in medical collection processes is preferred. Familiarity with animal husbandry practices, including dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care techniques. Previous kennel experience or veterinary experience is a plus. Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique in a clinical setting. Experience with laboratory procedures or veterinary critical care is advantageous. Knowledge of equine care or experience with dog training is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
