Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and an ability to create a positive first impression for our patients. This role plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and providing an outstanding patient experience. SLP Dentistry is a general dentistry private practice committed to providing exceptional care while focusing on the patient experience and fostering lasting relationships. We believe in creating a welcoming environment for our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit. Duties Greet and check-in patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries Process payments and handle billing inquiries Confirm and reschedule patient appointments as needed Assist with maintaining patient records and managing office flow Support the dental team by coordinating patient care and managing appointments efficiently Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Experience Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus Proficiency in basic computer skills and scheduling software Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care Must be reliable and able to work collaboratively with our dental team If you're ready to contribute to a team dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and outstanding patient service, we'd love to hear from you
