Job Description

Receptionist Job Description L&A Tax Solutions is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients. The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting with tax document intake, and supporting daily office operations. This role is critical in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and organized client experience during tax season and throughout the year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member. Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments. Collect, organize, and scan tax documents provided by clients. Maintain accurate client records and update information in company databases. Assist clients with intake forms and basic office paperwork. Process incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and office correspondence. Handle filing, copying, scanning, and other administrative tasks. Maintain confidentiality of all client financial and personal information. Monitor office supplies and notify management when inventory is low. Keep the reception area and office organized and professional. Provide administrative support to tax preparers and management as needed. Assist with client follow-up calls and appointment reminders. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous receptionist, customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
