About Us Real Property Management Services is a trusted property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service to property owners and tenants throughout the region. We pride ourselves on a professional, responsive, and client-focused approach. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. Position Overview The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, tenants, vendors, and visitors — both in person and over the phone. This role is central to the smooth operation of our front office and requires someone who is personable, professional, and highly organized. A Texas Real Estate License is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Greet and assist walk-in clients, tenants, and vendors Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, and in person, routing complex matters to the appropriate staff member Schedule appointments and manage calendars for property managers Maintain and organize front office files, records, and correspondence Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages Assist with data entry, document preparation, and general administrative tasks Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to relay service requests Collect rent payments and provide receipts as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Support the property management team with miscellaneous office tasks as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus Minimum 2 years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications Active Texas Real Estate License (preferred but not required) Prior experience in property management, real estate, or a related field Familiarity with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Property Meld, RentEngine) What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Real estate licensing assistance and professional development support Paid time off and holiday schedule Monday-Friday schedule
