Job Description
Description We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression while managing incoming calls and assisting with routine administrative needs. The right candidate will be comfortable handling a busy phone system, directing inquiries efficiently, and maintaining a well-organized environment for visitors and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and provide courteous front desk support to ensure a welcoming and friendly office experience.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, routing each call accurately and taking clear messages when needed.
- Respond to inbound inquiries in a timely manner and direct requests to the appropriate team members or departments.
- Maintain reception area organization so the front office remains clean, presentable, and ready for guests.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as basic recordkeeping, message distribution, and routine office support.
- Coordinate communication between visitors, employees, and external callers to help daily operations run smoothly. Requirements
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or high-volume phone system with confidence and accuracy.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a clear, detail-oriented phone presence.
- Comfortable handling inbound calls while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Availability to work in a part-time schedule as needed for the position.
